If you need to make changes in your PDFs with text or images etc. the source document needs to be available in your device to make changes and again it needs to be converted to PDF. Rather, you can do editing online without any softwares. This trick works even if you don't have the source document.

You can edit your PDFs using some free application online but sometimes it may not be able to handle some PDFs with some tipical layouts or some complex designs, In this scenario this is the best option how you can do it.

How to Edit PDFs using word online :


  • First step is to go to onedrive.com and sign in to your microsoft account, after signing in upload or drag your PDF which you want to edit.
  • After uploading the PDF double click on it to open it with the word online application.


  • As shown in the above image click on the Edit in Word, when you will click on it it will ask for converting the PDF to word format click on convert to get started with your editing.
  • In this editing it will save a copy of PDF in the drive so original PDF will not be altered.
  • When you are done with the editing you'll need to click on File-->Save As to get a copy of PDF in your device.
This Application of Word is free and you don't need to have activated version of Office or any other software to edit.
